The Lodi has been aged for 20 months, combining French and American Oak, prominently less American Oak than in the 2016 and 2017 CULT CA. It displays a deep red color with a heightened brambly fruit profile and a more integrated oak flavour, yielding a richer taste than its Napa counterpart. With less alcohol, it is an effortless drink.
Tasting Notes:
This direct expression of Cabernet Sauvignon brings forth aromas of ripe black cherry and raspberry. Boasting a silky texture, it displays notes of nutmeg and coffee, supported by a powdery tannic structure. The mid-palate evinces a lush, fruity character, culminating in a persistent finish.
